Signs that you may need an air con re gas or service include: the air from the vents is not as cold as it used to be, the windscreen demisting process is slower than normal, there is an unexplained drop in fuel-efficiency, or an odd smell.
Air conditioning is an essential feature in most modern vehicles. Getting an air con re gas will remedy all of above issues and will ensure you are kept cool. It will also reduce the strain on the engine, thus reducing fuel usage.
In our experience, it is advisable to take your car in for a check and possible re gas at least once every two years. We will remove the old refrigerant and replace with new, and also clean or replace the system filters and any lubricants. Additionally, we will check the condition of all remaining air-conditioning components.
